When I saw “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,” it hit me like a truck. I was heartbroken at the time and the pain was so bad, so deep, I just wanted to wipe every trace of him from my memory. That was unusual for me, since I’m into all that New Age-y “lesson” stuff and really, what good is a lesson you can’t recall? Eventually I got over it and yes, figured out my lesson. But I haven’t watched the movie again.
