If we do take the House again, watch for people like this to act like the little tin dictators they are.
In the meantime, the Congressional Black Caucus will stage a walkout.

the 30 dems are all voting that way because the NRA is telling them to. in a lot of districts a less than 100% NRA rating can be deadly to a politician’s reelection chances. the NRA used to only base its ratings on votes about gun-related legislation. but because of the conspiracy theories about how “fast and furious” is a secret plot to seize people’s handguns, the NRA has told members of congress that it considers the contempt vote to be a gun-related vote, and will hold it against anyone who doesn’t vote for the contempt resolution.
in other words, this is more about the ridiculous influence of the NRA than anything else.
