Cops are just another brand of outlaw. In fact, cops stand with outlaw motorcycle gangs in their continuous ongoing demand for “respect.” If you disrespect them, your can expect a beat-down, one way or another. I discovered this and it was an epiphany after twenty years of dealing with a family member who was a cop for 10 years and a prison guard for 20 years. I never knew who the hell I was dealing with and never figured it out until I began doing some research on police motorcycle clubs, the ones that look like outlaw MCs but are composed of law enforcers of different flavors and stripes. It was then I realized the truth about cops. Not all cops are like this and neither are all outlaw MC members, but the overlaps of attitude and values and demands for “respect” are amazing. The only difference is when the cop MCs get into a beef with a real outlaw MC club, the cops call 911 and their opponents go to jail. Cops and genuine outlaws are merely members of rival gangs.

My own brother was a Detroit cop for 32 years. Talking about thugish? He once threaten to throw me in jail when he found mariwanna buds in my apartment. Meanwhile, karma swished down on his ass when he was caught screwing a prostitute he’d arrested and had in custody. It was in all the papers all over the city and he never became anything more than a beat cop for the rest of his career
