Did they or didn’t they?

Anonymous claims they prevented Karl Rove from stealing the election. The thing is, Karl Rove was raving on election night as if he’d been double-crossed, so it’s not implausible. Let’s put it this way: I hope so!

Great story, Susie! I can see how Anonymous could screw up ORCA’s GOTV efforts, by interfering with field workers’ account access, but I can’t quite see how ORCA could have disrupted the vote tally.

Then again, these states are all run by Repuglicans …

Thanks for the link. Whether they did or not is up for discussion, but most certainly Rove’s “FIX” didn’t work. Whew!

Do you know… my husband said that someone outwitted Karl Rove on election night. He suspected this immediately.

I think that this is a hoax, but it’s an entertaining one. If it were true, then it brings to mind that bit of dialogue from The Sting:

Floyd: Doyle, I KNOW I gave him four THREES. He had to make a SWITCH. We can’t let him get away with that.
Doyle Lonnegan: What was I supposed to do – call him for cheating better than me, in front of the others?

If this missive were true why wouldn’t they leak the proof in that package all over hell and gone?

They’re threatening to send it to WikiLeaks.

If they do that, they’ll look the first WikiLeaks crackdown look like an act of gentle concern. I only hope they don’t do it at the same time the ongoing Shock Doctrine push happens under the cover of the holidays.

But it just might need to happen anyway, to force the conversation we need concerning election reform, voting machines, and who controls the counting of votes.
