Reading his words gave me chills. Yes, look for the helpers, that’s where we’ll see the humanity of humans.
Funny that Republicans are so dedicated to disrespecting so many of the real helpers in our society. Both R’s and D’s seem to be big on disrespecting teachers, for politial reasons now.
Can police and firement, EMS and nurses, any of the helpers be far behind? Part of the dissing is to justify paying these people less, or providing fewer tools and supplies for them to their jobs, even if they’re volunteers.
And, for Mayor Mike, if the helpers labeled themselves as part of Occupy, they HAD to be shut down. For political and power reasons.
