I can’t tell you why I’m so sure we can do it this time, but we’re going to take on the NRA and win. For once, we’re going to make politicians do the right thing, instead of protecting their financial sponsors.

I get the same feeling.
I hope we’re right.
But the realist in me says that there new legislation will be ineffectual window-dressing.

The dam may be breaking. From my local public radio news today, Friggin NRA 100%er Joe Manchin of West Virgina endorsed a ban on assault weapons and extended magazines.
