This will be another corporatist Who Should Deserve Our Support because . . . fundraising from Goldman Sachs.
Obama is a Capitalist. Capitalists exploit the enviornment for profit, they do not protect it. Unless there’s more money to be made from protecting the enviornment than there is to be made from exploiting it. “Follow the money.”
One reason tar sands gunk was good to refine in Texas was that it displaced dirty Venezuellan heavy crude. Damned if that Citgo crude just didn’t become a clean fuel again.
