We should all get off Obama’s back. He’s made himself totally irrelevant. We are being screwed by the people who make our laws. That would be the Congress. Both Republican and Democratic members of the House and Senate. If we want to be angry, we should be angry at and contact them. Obama can propose that we all get a pony (or have chained-CPI). But unless and until the members of the House and Senate write legislation and set aside the money, none of us will get that pony. Ain’t that right Nancy?
Excuse me! Obama is the linchpin in all of this. He is the political okeydokey for entitlement cuts. He says no and vetos will follow; and all this crap is over except for the stalemate. If the Democrats threatened to take entitlement cuts to the mid-term elections, Paul Ryan would be a leper. Obama is pimping these cuts. The only reason to get off his back is that he is a lost cause. Any bets that Obama’s budget contains repeal of the hedge fund bracket? I thought not.
