Thatcher championed the economics of austerity. She broke the back of the labor unions (99%) in favor of free market Capitalism (1%). Thatcher got away with it because people were focused on the fact that she was the first female Prime Minister. Anyone who believes that Hillary is not a Thatcherite is fooling themselves. The US is ready for its first female president. But it isn’t ready for just ‘any’ female president.
