Ah yes I remember it well. I also remember everyone saying “Don’t worry he’d never do that . . .”
Yes, he told us exactly what he was going to do. And Democrats wanted him reelected anyway. But now they are feeling betrayed? Obama did a lot of lying to get elected in 2008 but since then his conservative actions and, increasingly, rhetoric have been quite obvious. Maybe Democrats need to stop being a big tent party, if it includes people such as Obama who don’t agree with anything in the platform and actively work against it.
