Dream

I was visiting friends at their house, and they handed me a baby to hold. There were large waves breaking on the side of their house, and I was swept under one of them while holding the baby. “Oh no, how is the baby going to breathe?” I thought, panicked. When I got out of the water, I saw he was blue and floppy. I sat him on a table and bent him gently at the waist, and water started to come out. I did it several times, and he started to pink up. He coughed, then looked at me. I was happy he was okay.

  1. I was listening to a radio broadcast in the large city that I was living in. The man on the radio told me to stay in my house until further notice per the authorities. I peaked out the window to see hundreds of robocops and dozens of warwagons all over my street. Then came a loud banging at my door and a voice yelling “open up.” I did and the fully armed robocops stormed my place and searched every room before leaving. They never said a thing as they did their work. This must be what a police state is like I thought to myself. Funny thing about it is that I didn’t have to wake up from a dream nor did I feel very safe.

  2. I would guess you believe you can help make things better, even against overwhelming forces. You optimist you.

  3. Someone once said that, “The only way to predict the future is by studying the past.” Predicting the future is one action. Changing the future is another and takes a group.

  4. @1 — They did not announce themselves as police nor ask permission to search?

Yikes, I guess the police state is here, right now.

Who could have seen that coming? /snark

  5. I wonder if the baby represents you and your tax issues, with the water meaning you’re “under water”? And you’re finally feeling some control over your situation shown by getting out of the water and the baby not drowning?

Too literal for dream interp? I never, or hardly ever, remember my dreams. Wish I could.
