Susie, while appreciating the author’s perspective about the Am Rev being a flop, it’s worth noting that at least this one argument is quite flawed. He writes, “While the Canadian, Australian and British governments have shown they can get things done, including passing tough austerity budgets in recent years, the norm in Washington has become paralyzing partisanship and gridlock.”
Canadian, Australian and British austerity budgets are destroying any widespread pursuit of happiness — not advancing them.
I didn’t agree with everything he said. I just thought he made a few good points.
