One Response to FL-13

Florida is not a real progressive state. However…….its legislature will soon be voting on whether or not to require the tens of thousands of students who receive vouchers to attend private alternative schools (charter) to take the same assessment tests that public-school students are required by law to take. 60,000 untested kids now receive $229 million dollars in school vouchers to attend alternative schools in Florida. It makes sense to test every kid, every teacher and every administrator for grades K-12. Everyone in private and public school. That’s what the Common Core academic standards demands. How does your state handle assessment testing?
