  1. We must stop burning shit. But how? Driving up the cost of oil will help. So will cutting off the oil spigot. ISIL is helping on both fronts. We must keep in mind that what is happening in the Middle East today and what has been happening in the Middle East for the past 50 years is all about Israel. Now that ISIL has decided to take down the King of Jordan (the country is 90% Sunni) and then get rid of the King of Saudi Arabia (the home of al Qaeda) the road to Tel Aviv has shortened considerably. Once ISIL controls the oil fields in Iraq, Saudi Arabia and the rest of the Gulf states the West will refuse to buy their oil. That is great news for the environment.

  2. From the google machine:
    “ISIL
    isil.org/
Provides intellectual resources and tools for grassroots advocacy and arranges international conferences for libertarians from all over the world.”

I wonder if this outfit is planning to change its name sometime in the near future.

I think that if ISIS/ISIL were as much of a threat to the Middle East status quo as IMHO says, the entire American right wing would have dragged us into a new war by now.
    (Not that they’re not trying.)

  3. “Status quo.” The only constant is change. At the moment the change taking place in the Middle East is beyond the control of the oligarchy. The 1% only goes to war if it knows it can bring about the outcome it wants. The ISIL has confused and confounded the 1%. Hence no war. Yet.

  4. How come every month isnt a record hot month? Could it just be nature and climate? Havent we had climate change since time began? Why was it hot enough for dinosaurs but then we have an ice age but then we heat up again. My opinion it’s the cycle of life.
