Those on the Right in the US (neo-cons, interventionists, Zionists—-the warmongers) do not want peace.
Russian Foreign Minister Alexander Lukashevich said yesterday, “The sanctions are putting in doubt prospects for bilateral cooperation on solving the situation around the Iranian nuclear program, the Syrian crisis, and other acute international problems.”
Which is just fine with the warmongers. They would rather have Iran as a nuclear armed adversary and a continuing civil war in Syria then they would peace. With fewer enemies in the world the arms manufactures would not be able to justify spending $585 billion each and every year on the defense budget.
There are huge profits to be made from wars and from rumors of wars.
