Let’s not forget about NYPD officer William R. Phillips who spent 40 years in prison on a trumped up murder charge after appearing before the Knapp Commission on police corruption. There was a documentary made about this guys troubles.
Going off topic.
We now know what action Iran has taken in response to the Israeli killing of one of its generals in Syria on Sunday.
On Monday the Shiite Houthis, an ally of Iran, all but took control of Yemen.
That’s a major blow to US plans for that region.
Without the support of the Houthis the government of Yemen cannot control the Sunni al-Qaeda of the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP).
Quite soon, and even though they hate each other, AQAP and ISIS could join forces to take down Saudi Arabia, the Gulf states and Jordan. Those are identical goals of each group.
