How cold is it? Let me put it this way: I was meeting a friend downtown for dinner last night, and the wind chill was 20 below. I wore leggings, pants, wool socks, suede boots with wool lining, a tank top, a flannel shirt, a fleece pullover, a neck scarf, a down-filled parka, a wool hat, and suede fleece-lined gloves.
I thought I was overdoing it, but I was FREEZING. Even in the restaurant, I was a little cold, and my feet never really did thaw out. I may have mentioned something to my friend about a desire to cut Jim Imhofe’s balls off with a rusty knife, but under the circumstances, it was understandable.
Apparently the Northeast (from Washington north) has officially become the coldest place on earth. That according to the weather types.
Isn’t there some prediction about when hell freezes over?

Out here in WI I am longing to see some real snow fall. We’re making due with such little snow that the local park has had to push and even carry snow from the parking lot piles to x-country ski trail locations which were almost completely brown.
We’ve been getting nuisance amounts. Just enough to have to shovel in order to get up the hill….but barely enough to make much of a difference. But it’s better better than nothing and the current cold will help it stay a bit longer.
We’re getting another six inches tomorrow. Yay.

Just watch the way he walks. They hang done to his knees. He has such a tiny brain that the good lord had to balance things out by giving him huge balls.
