That was who I thought it was at first. Obama’s mentor, and formerly the one politician I hated the more than any other.
What are these TED talks? They strike me as infomercials for the NPR set. This was actually not like most of the ones I’ve seen. The first TED I watched all the way thru, because all of the others just annoyed the shit out of me within 5 minutes. I almost bailed on this guy too, but somehow he avoided the TED feel to his lecture.
Still, sounds too good to be true, and the credulity of the host/EM and the audience really set my teeth on edge (but by then it was almost the end anyway).
