I was supposed to pick a friend up for dinner last night and the car wouldn’t start– despite the new battery and the new alternator.
So it’s back to the mechanic, who thinks it’s the electrical system.
The universe, my friend says, is testing me.
UPDATE: Okay, I didn’t know you weren’t supposed to pump the gas pedal in a fuel-injected car. It seems fine now. Did I mention we’re going into a Mercury retrograde?
