Thankfully it sounds like he wasn’t killed. But why the hell would these cops shoot at anyone who they had no evidence had committed a crime and was running away from them? I don’t see how that can be called good policing? Maybe we are missing part of the story?
Actually it’s not good policing or anything else. If they weren’t policemen, it would be called assault with a deadly weapon. Insufficient fear of blue uniforms is the key.
