Why the GOP expects to get away with uninsuring millions (and how to stop them)

PAUL RYAN BETRAYED US ALL .........

If you actually believe that Paul Ryan cares about balancing the budget and lifting people out of poverty, you’re probably ignoring the fact that he’s about to do the exact opposite of both. A full repeal of Obamacare would blast a $353 billion hole in the deficit, while kicking millions of Americans near the poverty line…

  1. It’s kind of hard to enlist the help of all the many people who were dismissed and ridiculed for advocating medicare for all and single payer, in preference for what was essentially the Heritage Foundation’s prescription for health coverage. When the GOP repeals the ACA, another effect will be to gut the healthcare industry which, like it or not, employs Americans in America.

  2. I think their calculation for repeal and delay is that after they repeal the parts of the ACA that can be repealed under reconciliation, it will actually start to fall apart, and they can tell their credulous voters “See, we told you it wouldn’t work” as their prelude to blaming the whole mess they make on the Democrats.
We have to try to not let them get away with that tactic this time.

  3. I can already hear dtumpf saying “this is fake news and get the fuck outta this presser.”
