  1. It seems like this happens every time with the Republicans. I remember meeting a film maker friend I hadn’t seen in years in 2003, and he said “Remember when we used to make jokes about how outrageous the Reagan administration was?”
    I said “Hell, I remember Nixon! I’d jump over a whole gang of Karl Roves to get to a Bebe Rebozo…”

    This is when I remember Molly Ivins saying that guys who have made a lot of money in business have a really hard time working in a system of checks and balances.
