  1. Qatar hosts the largest US military base in the Middle East. 11,000 military personal are stationed at the base.

Last week the Emir of Qatar criticized the United States, offered support for Iran, and reaffirmed Qatar’s support for Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood.

The Emir seems to be siding with the Shiite Muslims (Iran), and taking verbal shots at the Sunni Muslims
    (Saudi Arabia).

The real player in this region is Oman. Oman never seems to have any problems with its neighbors and is always at the center of the negotiations that occur to bring an end to the various outbreaks of violence in the area.

Oman has been working very hard for years to bring a peaceful conclusion to the war in Yemen.

Unfortunately Saudi Arabia and the United States have obstructed every effort to bring about a sustainable ceasefire for geopolitical reasons.

With the election of Trump and his policy of isolating and eventually destroying Iran, Qatar is finally calling bullshit.

If Netanyahu was the president of the United States, he would be happily implementing Trumps dangerous Middle East policy and the Shiites know it.
