    The Cruz amendment brings us back to ground-zero.
    To the bad old days when the insurance companies were allowed to cheat and steal from their customers.
    That was the situation that lead to the passage of Obamacare and the insurance industry doesn’t want to repeat that mistake.
    Because they know that this time it will lead to a single-payer health care system.

    The neo-liberal, capitalists in congress are making a mighty effort to try and save the health insurance industry.
    What they don’t want is for Cruz and Pence to muck it up with their idiotic amendment.

    Why is it that the wealthiest country on earth can not afford to put a single-payer health care system in place, but European countries can afford to do it?
