I don’t understand this vote by the Democrats.
Nor do I buy the “they tried to sucker us” spin coming from the Democrats.
Everybody knows that there is a split in the Democratic Party about the efficacy of a single-payer health care system. Pelosi hates the idea. So does Schumer.
Heitkamp, Tester, Manchin, and Donnelly all voted “No” on the amendment. Of course they would because in real life these senators are more Republican the Democrat.
But it would have been nice to get the entire party on record with this vote.
We need to know who the Democratic “running dogs are” so that they can be dealt with at the polls.
