Many years ago (it was around the time of the O.J. trial), I turned on the local morning show and saw this mousy little girl wearing glasses and overalls, and then she opened her mouth to sing. I said to myself, “If she ever puts on a little makeup and dresses up, she’ll be a star.” And now, Susan Tedeschi is one of our biggest blues performers.
