  1. A lower corporate tax rate, combined with closing loopholes big enough to drive a tank through could lead to a fairer, simpler, and more rational tax policy. But closing the loopholes against the army of lobbyists driving those tanks will appeal to the opportunists of neither party. NAGAHABBN. Just another obfuscatory scam to give free money to the rich perpetrated by genial scumbags, aided and abetted by benighted MSM talking heads who are totally out of their depth spewing anything but false equivalence.

  2. A corporate tax rate of whatever and a loopholeless 95% tax rate on the upper .1% and zero for the rest of us then I’ll listen.

  3. Any tax cut, to anybody creates a deficit.

Unless the tax cuts are revenue neutral. If you give a dollar to Joe, you must take an additional dollar from Susie to make up the shortfall.

The Republicans and the neo-liberals will tell us that the economy will grow if tax cuts are given. And that that new growth will increase the amount of tax dollars flowing into the treasury and those new tax dollars will more then make up for any lost tax dollars given in the cuts.

That is a load of crap and economic history proves that it’s a load of crap.
    .
So why do we all keep falling for this line of BS over and over again?
