  1. On Democracy Now! this morning, it was stated that other nations are NOT PERMITTED to send aid to Puerto Rico.

Also, of course, it’s now time for the Big Bidnesses to buy up the entire nation. Never let a good crises go to waste — make sure the rich get richer from it.

  2. Damn Brown people!! Always wanting a hand out.

Trump’s Fascist establishment candidate, Luther Strange (you can’t make this shit up), lost to ultra-right wing and bat-shit crazy Roy Moore in Alabama yesterday.

Which means that the lunatic Mercer family oligarchs stomped the deranged Koch family oligarchs plus Trump into the ground.

If the Democratic Party can’t beat a maniac like Roy Moore in the election then the Party is as useless as a warm bucket of spit.

Trump also slapped a 220% tariff on Bombardier of Canada on each new plane that they delivery to Delta Airlines.
Which is pretty stupid given the fact that Boing didn’t even want the Delta contract to begin with.
Unless Trump is just putting on a show for the rubes?

  3. In Alabama the warm spit problem is not the Democrats, it’s the political atavism of the whole damn State.

  4. Katrina became a political problem for”W”. Sadly Puerto Rico is so little understood that messing up this rescue will not likely have much fallout. But let’s be clear, both represent the Republican template for rescue in dominantly non-white constituencies and the facts on the ground in Puerto Rico without further commitment will swiftly rival the neglect seen in New Orleans.

  5. Jawbone has got it right, spot on! Big money will take control of the island and every fucking thing on it in exchange for the further enslavement of the entire population for at least 100 years!. Watch for legalized gambling, prostitution, and money laundering,
