  1. Plutocrat politicians and their oligarch patrons are always trying to game the system and cheat the 99%.

    Take the Trump/Republican Tax Bill for instance.

    Every percentage point reduction in the corporate tax rate reduces federal tax revenue by $100 billion dollars.

    Trump wants the current 35% corporate tax rate slashed to 20% (22% or 23% says congress) which will add $1.5 trillion dollars to the debt over 10 years.

    Trump says he won’t sign a Tax Bill if it increases the debt.
    So the Republicans intend to cut $1 trillion from Medicaid and $1 trillion from other social programs that help the poor and working poor just to satisfy Trump’s demands.

    Getting rid of the estate tax (death tax) and the alternative minimum tax will cost the treasury additional billions in lost tax revenues.
    The elimination of these two taxes will help only wealthy plutocrats and oligarchs and not the 99%
