The shooter was courtmartialed for beating his first wife and breaking the skull of her baby. He also stalked underage girls.
It’s time to stop putting assault weapons in the hands of anyone at all, but especially men with these seething grievances. If we stopped selling assault weapons at all, that would be a good start.
But at least we could stop handing these “rights” to men charged with domestic violence. That seems like it won’t happen, because too many cops would lose the right to carry a gun.
And so it goes, again and again.
As you said, military-style assault weapons should be outlawed.
We also need an “extreme” back round check on anyone purchasing ‘any’ weapon.
It would also be nice if the military stopped withholding negative information about themselves and their activities and made it public.
He abused animals as well, which is another predicter.
