This is probably not the most popular thing to say, but I’m beginning to wonder if Brett Kavanaugh is in the closet. The heavy drinking, the hypermasculinity… I don’t know. Seems like it might be an overreaction.

It’s clear to everyone, except Trump’s idiot base, that the only thing Republicans care about is holding onto power.

Which explains why Grassley will be presiding over a Medieval-style inquest which reflects the Republicans 16th century attitude toward women, people of color, LGBT, and poor folks who they see as stupid, lazy, louts.
The Republicans have even hired a professional prikke to question Professor Ford. (A dunking stool may also be employed during Ford’s questioning.)
Republicans required a professional questioner because eleven old, white, sexist men had no clue about how to treat a woman with respect.
