I honestly don’t know what I think of the Sarandons and Wests and Moores showing up. Not that I think they mean ill, but they always make every event about themselves.
As I said on ye olde facebooke, if Susan Sarandon and the rest want to make an impact, start shelling out some ducats for think tanks, endowed chairs, fellowships, etc. so we can begin to build the communication infrastructure that can compete with what the right has built.
