Some of you have written to ask what’s going on with the job hunt. Well, they told me they would make a decision this week and I haven’t heard back. I emailed them today and hope to know one way or another soon.
But no, we don’t need no stinkin’ Tier 5 unemployment benefits!

Oh, never mind the above. It’s good, but it won’t help those of us who’ve run out of benefits:
“This bill would extend the filing deadline for existing tiers of unemployment benefits…”
Best of luck. Don’t get discouraged: With cutbacks, most people on staff are doing their jobs, and someone else’s — and extra stuff like interviewing and filling positions when they have time. It’s not usually their first priority, so deadlines are kinda soft. Hang in there.
