I agree. So Obama said people have a right to build their Muslim community center — while implying it might not be wise.
Does this guy have any real convictions? Other his faith in Tim Geithner, I mean.

Yes. Whatever of our money the banksters don’t have, they should get. Those are The Big O’s convictions.
What lambert said. I was truly shocked (pleased) when the first part came out——and then saddened, but not surprised, at the wimpout.
I’ve been asking various trolls to tell me, if 51 Park Place is too close, what address would please them?
They never do have an answer. Probably because none of them have ever been here, yet they have an opinion about which blocks are insensitive.

Since the people behind the Cordoba project are also having second thoughts, I’ll give the President a pass on his “clarification”.
The ones I feel sorriest for are the halal meat guys of lower Manhattan. They work hard, they pray hard, they provide balanced takeout meals (rice, lamb, veggies) at a reasonable price, and all they’ve got in Lower Manhattan are two remarkable (one run by a woman!) but overcrowded mosques:

and a dark room in an abandoned Burlington Coat Factory to pray in.
They came here expecting to find a free country and instead are being swamped by ignorance and bigotry.
I don’t see how that’s the President’s fault.
