  1. Well, c’mon. It’s probably a different part of the DOJ that prosecutes campaign law violations and financial system crimes. The staffing level could look something like “5 for D campaign violations, 200 for ‘dealing with’ whistleblowers and leakers, 1 part timer for financial system crimes”.

    Priorities! How the fuck do they work, anyway?

  2. Rove used federal attorneys to damage political opponents, and Obama, unlike his four predecessors, left all of those people in place when he took office.

  3. Someofparts is absolutely correct. Attack of the Mole People! It’s what you get when you let Rethug Monarchists anywhere near power. I guess reestablishing integrity at DoJ was too much to ask of Obama.
