Despite all the write-ins and calls to congress, they STILL pass the goddamn Patriot Act that “allows” them to spy on US WHO ARE FOOTING THE BILL! What are we STUPID? Yeah, go ahead write and call your reps and senators – it won’t do a damn bit of good to change this medicare/medicaid or anything else – they only do what their corporate campaign contributors want them to do. PERIOD.

The only way to make our legislators more responsive to the voters, rather than the campaign contributors is to work toward passage of a constitutional amendment to stop unlimited campaign contributions.
