Oh come on

As if there’s any doubt that they’re going to fall in line for Mittens. If there’s one thing you can say for Republicans, they stick together. So while their egos may need stroking, there’s no real danger of an uprising against him – no matter what. Instead, they’ll stick to little projects like this, where they can cultivate the appearance of making Mittens bend to their will, real or not.

  1. Speaking of chrades and political will bending. Democrat Harry Truman was up for reelection in 1948. But both parties wanted to bust the unions. So on June 23,1947, Congress passed the biggest union busting bill of all times. The Taft-Hartley Act. Truman feiged outrage and vetoed the bill proving his loyalty to the wrokers whose votes he needed in the upcoming election. Congress overrode his veto and the law went into effect. Over the next 4 years the workers friend, Harry Truman used the Taft-Hartley Act 12 times to bust the unions. All politics is smoke and mirrors and bullshit. But it’s better to vote for Obama than for Romney. And then vote every other Republican in sight out of office.
