Oops, Mitch caved
The only reason Moscow Mitch didn’t cave much earlier are named Manchin, Sinema and Feinstein who all said that they would not vote to get rid of the Senate’s filibuster rule (60 votes) “under any circumstance.”
What the hell is wrong with Democratic Senators Krysten Sinema (AZ), Joe Manchin (WV) and Diane Feinstein (CA)?
Well, we all know what’s wrong with the crazy, old, broad Feinstein, but what explains the idiocy of Sinema and Manchin?
Moscow Mitch and the Republicans are obstructionists who plan to kill by filibuster every piece of Democratic legislation that can’t get into the reconciliation process.
If the Senate’s 60 vote filibuster rule were eliminated then the Democrats would have free sailing to pass any piece of legislation that they’d like with 50 + 1 votes.
Medicare for All for instance.
Or a decent coronavirus relief bill.
Stop negotiating with the traitorous, obstructionist Republicans led by Moscow Mitch and get something done for the people Sinema, Manchin and Feinstein.
