Dan Rubin over at Blinq is pretty pissed off at the National Review appropriating famous rock songs as conservative anthems.
It doesn’t bother me because really, who takes these guys seriously? Other than people just like them, I mean.
I just keep picturing all those weenies from The Corner pounding their puds in their mothers’ basements while listening to Billy Joel sing “Captain Jack.”
“Yeah,” they say, eyes glazed over as they grope around by the dim light of the TV on the plaid Herculon couch for a fresh tissue to clean themselves off. “Righteous.”
