The Spirit of Christmas

Every year in Davis [CA], there is a dinner which is held for anybody who is alone, or homeless or who just wants to join with other people for a holiday dinner. There are over 500 people served, and all the food is donated by members of the community or by local merchants.

Wow. There’s a bunch of people I know in that video. That’s wonderful to find on Christmas morning.
Shelly and Ellen are very active in the community, and do a lot of great things like this, but they’re not the only ones who get involved. We also have groups like STEAC, that put together huge donation drives for needy people, and a consignment store called All Things Right and Relevant, which serves the mentally ill community. Davis is a good place to live…
