So Rush Holt claims the reason the Dems voted for the FISA bill is because they were threatened in the following manner: “If you go home and something happens, we’re going to say it was your fault.”
Now, I have to say, I’ve been hearing rumors from places I ordinarily don’t. Lots of talk about a nuclear bomb targeting an East Coast city, etc. It’s possible the Dems really were between a rock and a hard place on this one, knowing if something happened, they were going to get blamed.
It just makes me wonder: Do the Republicans want something to happen?
Is that a rhetorical question? Of course they want something to happen. Hell, why wouldn’t they? Because of the great value they place on human life?
I’d like to hear more about these rumors, and their source(s).

I don’t believe you. The democrats WANT a police state. Everything they have done , it only really fits with that. Not this bizarre image you have of them as being simply useful idiots, they are willful collaborators as you are by trying to cover for them.
I’m never voting for another Democrat for as long as I live. I doubt I’ll even ever bother to vote. What’s the point?
