I saw Elvin Bishop perform in Diamond Head Creator in Oahu in 1976.
I had been out in Micronesia for a year, no electricity, and had island hopped and ended up in Hawaii broke, trying to get back to LA.
Crashed for a month in Honolulu, and was able to drop back into media culture- Star Wars and Elvin Bishop.
