When I went to the Home Depot today, there was an old legless man in a wheelchair begging for spare change and it reminded me of this song. Al Jolson:

And I saw a story yesterday that the founder of Home Depot recently said that any business owner who did not support the Republican Party should be shot. Well, goodbye Home Depot, hello Lowe’s or my local hardware store.

I just heard Bing Crosby’s version of BCYSAD; more musical and less schmaltzy. Nevertheless, this song always gets to me.
Thanks for the heads up about Home Depot.
