  1. I bought my grandmother’s house many years ago. My grandfather worked for the railroad. They and their friends weathered the Great Depression fairly well.
    But she saved string and Easter Lily foil, and scraps of yarn and fabric.

    Looking at that graph, 36% of the U.S. has been hit pretty damn hard. Those people aren’t going to go out and spend money, if they ever see it again. So, figure thirty years or more till that group is out of consideration. I’m going to call it, “economic constipation.” It’s gonna take a lot to move that group.
