Yesterday Obama’s EPA struck a body blow to the coal industry. The EPA’s new guidlines on greenhouse gas emissions will stop the building of new coal fired power plants dead in their tracks. However, the new rules won’t do much to shut down the coal fired power plants now being operated. Did Obama go far enough? No. Did he go as far as he could in an election year? Absolutely.
Because less electricity is better for everyone!
