Did you ever hear Jann Browne? She used to play the Palomino a lot, before that club sadly closed…her albums came out about the time Kelly Willis released her first few, and both Jann and Kelly were in heavy rotation on my car cassette (!) deck.
She just seems like someone you’d like, if you haven’t heard her already…she was sadly underpromoted at the time (she was a little older that Nashville wanted, I think) but those first two albums were wonderful.
