So Roger Ailes, Republican kingmaker, sent an emissary to Gen. Petraeus to talk him into running for president — and Bob Woodward has the audio file of the conversation. Ailes insists it was all in good fun! Ha, ha!

Gee, could this be why Petraeus and his mistress were outed? Nothing big in government or in world affairs happens by accident. There are just not that many people in the oligarchy’s club. And the CIA (Capitalism’s Invisible Army) is ever vigilant and on the lookout for critical thinkers who might upset the good order of things. Not that Petraeus ever had an original thought.
