Darden Restaurants, Inc. hates the possibility of lower profit margins at its Olive Garden chain even more than it hates providing a health care option for its workers:
AP is reporting that, in an effort to stem the negative attention, Darden will announce Thursday that they will not be moving any workers to a part-time schedule because of Obamacare.
Marching Marketting out there with a press release to deflect a backlash costs nothing. But come 2014 the staffing will be realigned. Between employer mandates and insurance delivery the ACA is doomed.
