  1. This is the Baining of our earned benefits from SocSec and Medicare. Both Romney and Obama want to accomplish this. Romney might think it will make people more dependent on their religion as well as enriching the Uberwealthy and Wall Street. Obama favors the latter more, imho.

This is absolutely about further impoverishing the middle class, pushing the poorer into most dire poverty, and further enriching the Uberwealthy.

That’s what Corporatists of this day and age are all about.

The rich noticed that middle class kids, without fear of having no work, were willing to push for change and what they believed were improvements back in the 60’s and 70’s. They decided there had to be an end to these independent non-wealthy types.

They also figured out that by keeping the middle class holding on by its collective finger nails they could frighten people into being more pliable and less active against the Powers That Be.

That was one of St. Ronnie’s major accomplishments, weakening unions and ensuring the lowering of the middle class standard of living. All the while calling everyone “middle class” in the propaganda.

  2. Well this is the second post I have read in two days that is making me reconsider my boycott of AARP. They shill way too much insurance product for me to be comfortable that they are member advocates. Yet the powers that be still quake at their pronouncements and they are well left of the fiscal cliff negotiations on Medicare and Social Security. Maybe their feet can actually be held to the fire. I am ten years past card carrying age, HMMMM?
