   Poor kid – he ate a bowl of fruit and they did this to him? Gawd!

   First, let me say that I’m a Christian. A follower of the Christ. Who, himself, was a follower of Buddha, Zoroaster, Confucius, Amenhotep and Imhotep. All initiates. They were followed by Muhammad the last of the Prophets. That said, none of those people were crazy. They all understood that we each come to enlightenment on our own. So chaining someone to a pole in the basement is fruitless. So are blood offerings, burnings at the stake, or any other form of toture used to obtain the desired result. These two people are nuts and should be given a time out in order to “get their minds right.”

   Fundamentalists of any religious stripe are like all conservatives. They loudly proclaim beliefs, but never actually follow them.

   There was an unrelated adult in that house who thought it was normal to chain a kid in the basement? Religion seems less likely than addiction. Meth?
